Why is my deposit taking over a week?

I'm here to provide the possible reasons for the delay of your deposit, @keniaari. Also, I'll point you in the right direction to take care of your concern.

Deposit speeds are different depending on the payment type you're using in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The cutoff time is 3 pm PT. We usually deposit your credit card payments to your account the next business day. Also, your bank transfer (ACH) payments have the same speed if you've signed up for the next-day deposit plan.

However, the first deposit usually takes a little longer. You'll get payments within 4-5 business days while we establish your merchant account. For more details, visit this website: QuickBooks Payments Overview. Then, scroll down the page. Go to the When will I receive my money after I process a payment with QuickBooks? section.

Also, the delay may vary depending on the following scenarios:

  • The time of the day when you enter those transactions
  • Weekends and federal holidays
  • Financial institution to deposit the funds
  • Bank policies for verifying and processing electronic deposits

In line with this, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Payments Customer Care Team. They have the necessary tools to determine why your deposit is taking over a week. They can also check its status and provide you further options so you'll get paid. You'll first have to review our support hours to ensure we can assist you on time. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to this link: Contact Payments Support
  2. Locate the QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center section.
  3. Click Chat with us or get the phone number to call.

Once resolved, you can log into your Merchant Service Center portal. Then, go to the Activity & Reports section and select Deposits. From there, you'll be able to search for your deposits within 1 year. For more details, see this article's Searching for Deposits section: Locate Deposits In The Merchant Service Center

I recommend visiting this website: QuickBooks Payments FAQ. It contains links about managing your merchant account, checking your funding status, processing payments, and refunds in the software.

Please know that I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Take care always, @keniaari.
