Updating the address on your pay stub affects only future paychecks and does not modify those that have already been issued, Accounts618.
Since you've mentioned that the pay stubs for January are already generated, directly changing them is not possible if you're using direct deposit.
To make changes, you'll need to reach out to our Live Support team so they can process and edit your paycheck accordingly.
If you're using a paper check, we can delete and recreate those paychecks as a workaround. However, before doing this, I recommend running a payroll report first as a visual guide for the figures you've made during those periods.
On top of that, if you'd like to update the address for future paychecks, this must be verified and manually changed. If you're referring to the employer's address, you'll have to check it in your QuickBooks Company settings, as this appears on the employee's pay stub. These are:
- Company Address
- Legal Address
If you're referring to an employee's address, ensure that the Work location is accurately updated, as it will also be referenced on the employee's pay stub.
Here's how:
- Go to Payroll, then Employees.
- Select your employee.
- From Employment details, select Edit.
- From the Work location dropdown, select Add work location. Or select an existing location, then Save.
