Anyone else find Quickboks supervisor laziness frustrating?

Ive had problems with our check numbers not being accurate. Ive called for help 19 times and the agents dont know how to fix it. Asked to speak to the illustrious, all high, superior, all great, worshipfulness, ehalted supervisors, but they are always too busy watching TV to take or make a ph call.

Hello there, @doggoneproblems.

I wouldn't like you to be in that kind of situation. There could be a high volume of requests which's why they are unable to call you immediately.

I can see the importance of correcting the check number properly.

We can start by accessing your QuickBooks account using a private browser or incognito window. This way, we can isolate this unexpected inappropriate check number behavior for the possible browser-related issue. You can follow the steps below:

Step 1: Use an incognito window:

This prevents your browser from storing additional cache files that maybe not let the check number show correctly. It's a way to check issues caused by a full cache.

  •  For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

Step 2: Delete cache and temporary internet files:

If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance. It will also help delete the information stored in the cache. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online

Also, you may have transactions that were modified causing the checks to print an incorrect order.  We can go to the settings to enable the Custom transaction numbers feature. You can follow the steps below:

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose the Sales tab.
  4. Click Sales form content, then select Custom transaction numbers. Make sure to enable it.
  5. Hit Save. Then, Done.

To learn more or get further details about when printing a check, you can check this link: Print a check in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you still need more help about it. I'll be around anytime to assist you, doggoneproblems.
