Hello, @Jim.
Once you cancel your QuickBooks Payroll subscription, you'll no longer have access to your payroll tax returns. However, there are two ways to request a copy of those tax forms. I'd be delighted to guide you on how to do it.
The first option is to log in to QuickBooks Payroll Tax Center and download all available copies. Here's how:
- Go to https://payrolltaxcenter.intuit.com/ptc-termed/.
- Enter your company's EIN and Payroll PIN.
- Once logged in, you will see a link to online forms filed for your company. These are PDF files you can print, save, or email.
Just a heads-up, you can only access the Payroll Tax Center up until June of the following year from the date you cancel service.
And if you cannot locate a specific tax form, you'd want to request paper copies of your returns. You can enter the necessary information in this form: Tax Copy Request Form.
Lastly, once you completed the cancellation process, make sure to immediately contact the Federal and State Tax Agencies with which you are registered. This way, you can request and/or confirm that you have removed Intuit from your company's record and that future correspondence is sent directly to your company's address. By doing this, you'd avoid unnecessary delays in future correspondence. You can refer to these articles for more detailed information about the canceling your payroll subscription:
