You got me here to share information about creating one report for Certified Payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @ltavel. This way, you can get the data you need and submit the appropriate report to the agency.
Certified payroll reports must include a listing of the workers on the project, including work classifications, hours worked, wage rates, benefits, overtime compensation, total wages paid, and information related to payroll deductions. For the time being, QBO isn't supporting prevailing wages or certified payroll reports.
However, you can pull up payroll and/or employees' reports (i.e., Payroll Summary and Payroll Details) in QBO. Then, use the reports' data to pull up or generate a Certified Payroll outside the system. To do this, here's how:
- Go to the Reports menu
- Select the Standard tab.
- Scroll down until you reach the Payroll section.
- Choose the report you need (i.e., Payroll Summary and Payroll Details).
