exporting approved time to Quickbooks

Good morning, @CharZ

It's great to see a new face here in the Community. I hope you had a great weekend.

You can easily approve time for custom dates through your QuickBooks Time account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Approvals tab on the left-hand menu bar.
  2. Select the Custom date range option from the "Report Dates" section.
  3. Pick the dates.
  4. Click the Run Report button.

When reviewing your account, I did see that you exported time on June 11th. This could be why there are 0 hours to export. You can look over the sync log to check. Click on the buttons that are listed in the visual:

Let me know if this helps answer your question. I'm only a post away if you have any other questions or concerns. Have a splendid day!

Hello there, sop0922.

Sometimes you're unable to export time when the system encounters browser-related issues. With that, let's try opening QuickBooks on an incognito window.

I've added these shortcut keys to open an incognito browser:

  • For Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • For Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • For Safari: Command Shift N

If you can export your employee's time, you can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues inside QuickBooks.

You also have the option to switch to a different browser mentioned above.

Afterward, try exporting the data again. Here's how:

  1. In the top right corner of QuickBooks Time, select QuickBooks.
  2. Select Export All Approved Time.
  3. On the Proceed with export? window displays, click Export all hours.
  4. To view the timesheet data in QuickBooks Online, select the Time tab to open Time Entries.

In addition, I've added this link on how you can manage the Time tab before exporting: Track and manage QuickBooks Time.

There you go, sop0922. Don't hesitate to post again when you encounter issues in managing employees' time.
