Ever since after 2/18/2022 Payroll will not update and federal, social security, and medicare are 0 (Desktop Premiere 2021). You've also charged me payroll subscriptions for the two weeks payroll has been inoperable. Need some kind of idea when QB's is going to decide to fix the issue?????
Hi there, @Harbinse. I'm here to make sure QuickBooks calculates your payroll taxes correctly. This way, you'll be able to accurately record salaries and taxes, as well as pay the correct amount to the agency.
Make sure you have the latest QuickBooks and payroll updates. If you're having a problem after the updates, this is due to the system sometimes giving strange replies, such as not calculating payroll taxes. You'll need to reset the update to refresh the system in order to remedy this.
After that, you must revert the paychecks you've created. This will rectify the taxes and undo the adjustments in your employees' paychecks.
You can also use your QuickBooks account to pay and file your federal and state payroll taxes. Please read this article: Pay and file your payroll taxes online for more details. It also lists all of the criteria for using our e-file and e-pay services.
For the charges, you can contact our QuickBooks Desktop support. This way, they can check and assist you with the specific charges in your account.
Let me know if you have other concerns about tax calculation in QuickBooks Desktop. I'm just around to help.
I will try all of those things that we have already done eleventy billion times if you will assure me that the engineers that have been working on the issue for two weeks has solved it. QB's admitted there is an issue, so has it been solved????
