How can i delete direct deposit paychecks entered today for the wrong pay period?

Let's check if you can still delete the direct deposit (DD) paycheck, aoc_ejm.

QuickBooks Online lets you delete a DD paycheck before 5:00 P.M.Pacific time. After the said time, you're unable to remove it on your end.

You have to wait until the funds is deposit to the employee's bank account. Then, you can contact our QuickBooks Payroll Team. They'll delete the paycheck for you so you can enter a manual check with the correct pay period.

1. Go to Help (?).
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
4. Choose a way to connect with us:

How can I delete a direct deposit check that I made a mistake on

Thanks for joining us here. Let me help you in deleting a direct deposit check.

It depends on your direct deposit lead time or processing time if you can delete it or not. As long as the payroll is not processed yet, you can still delete it. Please follow these steps:

1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
2. Select Paycheck List under Run Payroll,
3. Change the date range if necessary. Then select the paychecks you want to delete.
4. Tap Delete. Mark the checkmark box to confirm the deletion. Then select Delete Paycheck.

You can only void it if the check was processed already. Please note that voiding it only creates an adjustment to zero out the check but won't stop the direct deposit. From the list of paychecks, you can see the Void button instead of Delete.
