How can I get payroll direct deposit emailed receipts.

When I changed the payroll bank account, the emailed direct deposit receipts stopped.  I can't find in my Desktop Accountant how start that back up again.  Your help is appreciated.

How can I get payroll direct deposit emailed receipts.

Hi, thomastonmilk.

 

To resolve this, let's update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This helps you get the full functionality of the payroll updates.

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop and go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Go to the Update Now tab. Tip: You can select the Reset Update checkbox to clear all previous update downloads.
  4. Click Get Updates to start the download.
  5. Once done, accept the option to install the new release. 

 

Once completed, restart your computer, and download the latest payroll tax table update.

 

Lastly, we can now view and print the confirmation report. This will show you all the paychecks' information. Here's how:

 

  1. Click Employees.
  2. Go to Send Payroll Data.
  3. Under Items Received, select the most recent payroll, then click View.

 

You can also verify that the payroll was sent by checking your bank register. Green lightning bolts next to your employees' names indicate that the checks were sent.
