The option to remove the Employer Copies: Form W-2 isn't possible in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Having the option to have a copy of your employee's W-2 helps you keep track of their record and taxes. This also helps you review and ensure you file your payroll taxes seamlessly.
In case you want to provide your employees a copy of their W-2 form, you can refer to these steps:
- Go to the Taxes menu.
- Select Payroll Tax.
- In the Forms section, select the Annual Forms link.
- Select Employee Copies: Form W-2 (W-2, Copies B, C & 2).
- Choose the appropriate filing period from the dropdown.
- Select View to open Adobe Reader in a new window.
- Click the print icon on the Reader toolbar and select Print again.
