How do I confirm state tax filings are being sent? I need copies of the archived forms for an audit, and I see no filings - only payments.

I'm here to help you find your filed state tax forms, Marilyn.

 

You can see those state filings from the Payroll Tax page in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll show you how to see those prior periods filed tax forms.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and select Payroll Tax.
  2. Click the Filings tab.
  3. You can select Resources, then Archived forms and filings for past forms.

 

The available period for archived payroll forms is not unlimited; rather, it extends back to two years.
