Hi there, userwileskar.
To confirm that you've paid employees through Direct Deposit, I suggest going to each of their profiles. From there, you'll be able to see if the employee is set up for DD. If this is the case, they are paid through Direct Deposit.
Here's how:
For additional information, you can click this article: Set up direct deposit for employees.
On the other hand, setting up a direct deposit takes two to three business days to confirm. You'll receive an email from us with the status. This could be the reason that the money for payroll was supposed to be direct deposited but it said pay by check.
Here's how:
For additional information, you can check this article: How to check your direct deposit setup status. This also provides details about what are the possible reasons why the direct deposit feature suddenly turns off.
Please refer to this article to see different payroll reports you can use to view useful information about your business and employees: Run payroll reports.
If you have any questions about the process or if you need further assistance please let me know so I can get back to you. Have a wonderful day!
Nop!
I need to change it from checks to DD.
Hi there, @userwileskar.
It's my pleasure to walk you through the process of how you can change the payment method from paper check to direct deposit.
After you complete this setup, the next paycheck you create for the employee will be marked for direct deposit.
Once everything is properly set up, please run the payroll 2 business days, before 5:00 PM, prior to the payment date to ensure that your employees will receive their pay.
