Hi there, Lesleh,

 

If you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll, you can try accessing your account through an incognito browser. This helps determine whether the grayed out drop-down box is caused by browser-related.

 

You can refer to these shortcut keys:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari.

If it works, then I recommend clearing the cache. This allows your browser to function more efficiently.

 

Otherwise, let's manually update and download the latest payroll tax table if you're using QuickBooks Desktop. Beforehand, ensure your software is updated to the latest release.
