Since the form seems to have changed 2x since the beginning of the year, I can't seem to find a way to file the Q1 2020 941 form late. I looked at the forms on the .gov website, but they only have the newest form for 2020, not the 1st version. Is there anyway to do this from quickbooks? I found an old form in another quickbooks company file that I am no longer doing payroll for and tried to replace the 941 tax form with that one, but the new form still populates.

You can go to click this link to open and furnish the 941 for 2020 Q1 and Q2: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-access/f941_accessible.pdf. Then, mail it directly to the IRS.

This link goes to a form that is only for the 2nd quarter of 2020. The 1st quarter is greyed out. Do you have a link to the form previous to that?

Here’s how:

Yes, you're right. Due to the updates, the form in QuickBooks is now the 2021 quarterly taxes. This way, I'd suggest going to the IRS website and get the 2020 4th quarter form from there and manually enter your desired data. You can check out this article, for more details: IRS website.
