Let me share some information about paying payroll taxes in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you're using QBO Payroll enhanced, you can file and pay your taxes electronically or manually from the Taxes tab by clicking on the Create payment button. For your guide, check out these articles:
If you don't have that option, I recommend replicating the steps using a private window. Sometimes, the regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks.
To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift +N
If that works fine from there, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, using other supported browsers can help us narrow the cause of this behavior.
On the other hand, if you're using the QuickBooks Full-Service Payroll, you may not have the Create payment option since Intuit sends your payroll taxes and forms automatically to ensure your business processes taxes on time. Feel free to read these articles for additional reference:
