To isolate the issue as to why you're getting the prompt message, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support Team. They have tools to pull up your account and assist you with deleting all employees and payroll information.
Here are the steps:
- Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
- Select QuickBooks Online.
- Click on Search for something else and enter your concerns in the Tell us more about your questions.
- Tap Search.
- Click on Start a message.
