Hi there, @swapankantesaria.

You'll want to label the 1099-MISC you received for work as a business income in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.

The 1099 is used to report money earned from self-employment, independent contractors and vendors.

To learn more about 1099 in QBSE, feel free to check this article for reference: 1099s in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You might also want to get in touch with your accountant if you want more tips on how to better record this.

You can also check this article for additional reference: Categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

In case you need to edit transactions in your QBSE, you can refer to this article for the details: Categorize and edit transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
