I can help you get pass the error, @philip29.

Yes, you'd have to update your payroll employee's information to change their salary. Let's start by accessing your account using a private or an incognito browser. This helps isolate the error for a possible browser related since it doesn’t store data in the cache. You can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge:  CTRL + Shift + P

Once you're able to logged in, you can try updating your employee's salary again. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Payroll or Workers menu.
  2. Select the Employees tab.
  3. Look for the employee name on the list, then tap on it to open.
  4. Hit the pencil or edit icon beside the Pay button.
  5. Go to the number 4 section.
  6. Update the salary rate to the raised amount.
  7. Click Done to record the changes.

I have tried what you suggested (going into Incognito mode) but am still getting the same error message when I try to increase the salary for an employee.  No matter how many times I try, I get the message "Please fix the errors below."  When I scroll through everything "below" I cannot find any errors.  The only thing I am attempting to change is the amount of the salary.  Please help!
