Is there a way to export all pay activity for each employee to a single line for a pay period? Ex. Gross, Fed Tax, State, Fica, MED, Net Pay?

Am looking for a way to export all info into excel and be able to sort so I can create a journal entry. We do not use Quickbooks accounting.

Hi there, @hawkeyedistribut.

Yes, there's a way to export all the pay activities of your employees. You can pull Payroll Summary by Employee Report that includes the Gross, Fed Tax, State, Fica, MED, and Net Pay. I'm happy to guide you through the whole process.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Report tab, then enter the Payroll Summary by Employee in the search box.
  2. Choose the exact date range in the drop-down.
  3. Pick Active Employees in the box.
  4. In the Display column by field, select Employee.
  5. Hit Run Report
  6. Click the small drop-down arrow on the right side, then choose Export to Excel

You can also make the reports your favorite, so you can easily access the report. Just go to the Standard, then hit the Star shape. See the sample screenshot below.

I've also added some articles about handling employee's information, paychecks, and various tasks for tax season.
