Hi @doulamarybs,

 

Most QuickBooks issues can be fixed by using a private window as one of the troubleshooting steps. If this works, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache.

 

Once done, log back into your QuickBooks account and track your mileage. Then if they are using a QBSE App, you can reset the app data.

 

Here's how to refresh your QBSE App for window:

1. Click the Help menu.

2. Select Reset App Data

 

The instruction below are steps for QBSE mobile app:

1. Change the data connection on your phone.

  • If you're using WiFi, turn it off and use cellular data.

  • If connected to cellular data, connect to WiFi.

2. Close and restart the App.

3. Clear App Data.

Let me share some information about resetting app data in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app, Sharkslayer.

 

The cache is the temporary storage area of a device that retains certain kinds of data. When resetting your app, this speeds up how quickly and smoothly your device operates. Then, it will reduce how much data is processed or consumed to start a clean slate on your app.

 

This will not affect the data you've added to your account. Just make sure we add the unreviewed transactions before resetting the app.

Mileage tracking does not work Consistently. How do I talk to a Human?

How do I stop QuickBooks from trying to take out the payment for the mileage tracker? I have been trying to find a place that says how to unsubscribe and cancel everything which is non-existent I guess. I will tell PayPal to block any further attempts on tapping my account for the mileage tracker. Very poor setup it does not work anyway.

You'll need to cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription first, NP007.

 

The charges will stop only if the account is successfully canceled. Let me walk you through:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Select the Gear icon.
  3. Select Billing Info and then Cancel subscription.

If you subscribed through iOS or Android, check out this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription.

 

Once canceled, you can access QuickBooks Self-Employed through the end of your billing period. We'll keep your data for one year after.
