My automatic tax payments are recently saving as "To print" when the payment has been e-filed. How do I fix this?

My tax payments for payroll are showing up as "To Print" in my register so every time I go to print a check they show up. When I try to edit in my register, all the sections are greyed out so I can't change anything. How do I fix this so all the payments already made aren't showing up in my "to Print" list of checks?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @OWL.

When QuickBooks has unexpected behavior, it is recommended to use a private browser. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that cause the system to act unusual behavior.

Here's how to open it:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once done, try to open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account again and check to see if it works. If yes, then your main browser causes this kind of issue. To ensure this doesn't happen again, it's a good idea to clear the cache of the browser you're using.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend using another supported and up-to-date browser

Please keep me posted on how things go on your end. I want to ensure this gets resolve for you. I'm always here to help. Take care.

My tax electronic tax payment did that for the first time this week and I can't change it. Were you able to find a fix for it?

Hi finial31,

Thank you for joining the thread. I'll share information to check the change in your tax payment status.

I assume you've gone through the troubleshooting steps shared by MirriamM. It's best to reach out to our QuickBooks Payroll Team at this point, so they can check this further using more tools. They are open on weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
