May I know what error are you getting when trying to update your billing information? For you to be able to update it successfully, make sure that the address in QuickBooks is the same on your credit card statement.
To update your payroll billing information:
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
- Select the Billing & Subscription tab and go to the Payroll section.
- Look for Payment method and click Edit next to your credit card information.
- Enter the updated details in the Payment Information window/drawer.
- Click Save and Done.
Also, you can try updating the information in a private window since it doesn't store cache files which gives us a hint for any cache related issues. Sometimes, the regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks.
To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift +N
If you're able to update the information successfully, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, using other supported browsers can help us narrow the cause of this behavior. Then, you can continue processing your payroll.
