What gives? here is the issue: A old client is still using our information to
get Direct Deposits to their Employees ?
Any help for this?
Hi bunnybook,
When you say your account, do you mean your payroll account? If you are an accountant, you can go to your Billing and Information page, and remove their EIN. However, if this client knows your service key, the best thing we do here is to really reach out to our Support team for your options. They'll be able to ask for your account details in a more secure environment to check your billing information.
The team is available from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
See about adding EINs to existing payroll subscriptions for your additional reference.
Feel free to go back to this thread if you have other questions regarding your payroll.
Hi Thanks
for your reply, some what helps. One trouble is don't know the Companies EIN anymore since
we no longer do payroll for them. Possibly we have it on a old computer will check that. Don't think they would
have my service key/etc. But maybe some how they do?
Will look on older computer and see if can find it, because when one looks in Manage EIN's it does not tell what company it is ? right?
Thanks
I appreciate you for getting back on this forum, @bunnybook.
I'll help you with removing the company file from your clients' list.
I need to gather enough information from you to review this further. And I can't display them here on the Community page for security reasons. That said, I would recommend seeking assistance from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). From there, they can help you with pulling up the companies listed under your bucket and locate the correct company file associated with the EIN.
