I understand the importance of your sick and vacation time accruals affecting your business in using QuickBooks Desktop with your business. You can carry over those hours into their available hours by going to the Preference menu and editing them.
Here’s how:
1. At the top of your QBDT account, choose Edit.
2. Select Preferences, then Payroll & Employees.
3. Click on the Company Preferences.
4. Tap on the Sick and Vacation tab.
5. From there, you can personalize your Sick and Vacation details.
- Ensure that you have set your Accrual period to Every hour on paycheck.
- Marked check the Reset hours each new year? to be able to carry over the maximum hours.
6. Tap Done, once you’re finished.
