Hello, jasonbarnes76.
Thank you for taking the time to reach out here in the Community. I'd be glad to provide some information about this issue with Projects.
To make sure this isn't a problem with the browser, I recommend clearing the cache. The cache can become full of older data, potentially causing viewing and performance errors in QuickBooks Online. Clearing it will allow you to work with a clean slate. This article will walk you through the process: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Getting-Started/How-do-I-clear-my-browser-cache-and-temporar....
Additionally, this issue you're running into with Projects not loading may be related to a known issue. The engineers are aware and diligently working to get this fixed. You'll want to call in to speak with a member of the Support Team. An agent will be able to get you added to the list of affected accounts. Once your company is added, you'll then receive email notifications regarding updates and the resolution. The number to speak with an agent is 1-800-488-7330. The most up-to-date contact information can be found here: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact. You may also advise that you believe this issue is connected to investigation #19186.
Feel free to reach out to me here and let me know how things go after the conversation. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.
Is there any update as to when this will be fixed?
Hi there, lfeinstein.
Thanks for following up on this thread.
I can assure you the engineers are working hard to get Projects fixed as quickly as possible. At this time, I don't have an exact time frame of when this will be resolved. I suggest following the steps listed above to speak with a member of the Support Team. Once you're added to the list of affected accounts you'll receive emails with updates and the solution for this problem with Projects. You're more than welcome to check back here as well. I'll let you know as soon as I hear word on this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the mean time.
We have actually been added to this case all day and have not gotten any updates. This is extremely troublesome to our company as we need projects to track many things in our company.
I appreciate you letting me know you've already been added.
I can see where you're coming from and I want to help get you back to business. I'll personally keep an eye on the status of this case and will report back here with any new information.
Has this issue been fixed? It has been 6 months.
Thanks for joining this conversation, Alison5.
Yes, the investigation (INV-15216) about being unable to access the Projects page in QuickBooks Online (QBO) has been resolved. If you're still having the same issue, let's perform some troubleshooting steps that can help us fix this.
Try logging into your QBO account using a private (incognito) browser. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses. Here's how:
Once logged in, access the Projects page again to double-check. If it works, return to your default browser and perform clear cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. If the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
Please let me know you encounter any other issues by leaving a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a great rest of the day!
If you're not going to fix it, why do we pay for it?
Hello there, @sahelchris,
Accessing projects in the program helps you track all your moving parts of your company. Paying your QBO plan avoids account disruption and lets you continually organize your income, expenses, and time by project. This way, you can measure the profitability of the work performed by your customers, vendors, and employees. It also helps you determine which projects are helping your business grow. For more information about this feature, check out this article: Projects.
The investigation's status related to projects has been resolved. If you haven't performed the steps provided by FritzF above, I suggest you to do so. These are the ways that can help fix this issue.
You can always go to the Project Reports tab. Then, locate the Project profitability report and click View to open it. This lets you get a clear picture of your profits from every project. See the screenshot below for your visual reference. For more information, check out the See your profits section through this article: Track Income, Costs, and Profitability by Project.
Please know that both I and the Community are always available to help if you have other concerns. Take care always, @sahelchris.
