QB Time and Admin Access

I realize that only the primary admin can sync payroll, but I am trying to follow the instructions to switch someone to the primary admin but when I go into that person's profile, the "Primary Admin" selection is not available to select.

After transferring the primary admin role to another user, she/he can proceed with syncing the payroll into QuickBooks Desktop.

I am signed in as the Primary Admin.  When I go to the person I want to switch to the Primary Admin from Admin, the choice to select Primary Admin is not available.

QuickBooks can occasionally be poorly configured due to a build-up cache which affects how well your browsing works. To resolve this, access QuickBooks using an incognito window or private browser. This mode doesn't retain your browsing history, leading to software problems such as errors and missing features. Here are some shortcut keys you can use as a guide:

• Ctrl + Shift + N  for Google Chrome
• Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
• Control + Option +P if you're using Safari

When you're finally able to transfer the Primary Admin role, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. By eliminating historical data, you can prevent errors when attempting to transfer roles. Another way to resolve this issue is to switch to a different supported browser.
