A W3 for 2020?? there was for 2019

Good day, Bamamansfield.

I'd be glad to share the steps on how to process or print your Form W3. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and proceed to the Payroll Tax tab.
  2. Click Annual Forms under the Forms section.
  3. Look for Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements or W3 and click on it.
  4. Select the correct period and make sure it says "2020".
  5. Click View.

A PDF copy of the form will open in a new tab. You can click the Print icon in the upper-right hand corner of the page to print a copy of the form.

I'd also like to share this checklist for additional reference when performing your year-end tasks: Year-end Checklist For QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Is this only on the desktop version? My online version does not have that option.

Hello @mariatenorio,

Let me help share how you can print your W3 information in online payroll.

To start with, the steps and screenshot shared by my colleague above are for the QuickBooks Online Payroll version. Base on your post upon joining in this thread, I'm assuming you've got a subscription with the Intuit Online Payroll version.

That being said, you can print one of your payroll reports which display the information of your W3 data. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Select Tax and Wage Summary.
  3. Make sure the date range spans the entire calendar year.
  4. Click Run Report.
  5. Select the Printer-Friendly Version link at the top of the table.
  6. On the pop-up window that displays your report, select Print.
  7. Under Share, select Printer Friendly.
  8. Click Print.

In the same manner, here's an article you can read to learn more about generating or printing your form: How to report and print form W-3 form?

On top of that, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can read while working with us: 2020 Year-End Resources.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
