Can I run a payroll report for each employee from 10/01/2019 to 10/01/2020?

Yes, you can run the Payroll Summary by Employee report, phyllis11.

Running and customizing this report in QuickBooks Online provides totals by each employee with their gross pay. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Type in Payroll Summary by Employee in the search bar, then click to open.
  3. Under the Date Range drop-down menu, select Custom, then type in the 10/01/2019 to 10/01/2020.
  4. Select the name of the employee.
  5. Choose how you’d like your columns to be viewed (by employee, weekly, bi-weekly, etc).
  6. Check the corresponding boxes if you’d like total Hours or Rates to be shown.
  7. Once done, click on Run Report.

For your visual reference, I've attached a screenshot below.

For more details about the report, I suggest check out this article: Create a Payroll Summary Report.

Additionally, there are other several reports that can help you view useful information about your business and employees, and we've listed them in this article: Run Payroll Reports.
