Hi there, christy_sousa.
Thanks for reaching out for support here in the Community. I can help you with printing payroll checks.
There's a setting in QuickBooks Online that let's you choose to print plain stubs or preprinted check stock. I'll show you right where to change it:
1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner.
2. Select Payroll Settings.
3. Choose Paycheck Printing under Preferences.
4. In the top section of the box, click the circle for preprinted checks.
5. Select OK.
Now you'll be able to print checks instead stubs. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. Take care.
I am having this same issue; however, under payroll settings, I don't see any options for Printing Preferences or settings?
Greetings, @317lanie.
Thanks for joining this thread. Allow me to jump in for a moment and help make sure that you can print payroll checks in QuickBooks.
Just to clarify, are you using QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, the steps that my colleague provided above should help you change or choose the preprinted check stock in the settings. I will add some sample screenshots below to help guide you through.
Once done, you can now print your employee's paycheck. For your reference, you can check out this article for further guidance: Reprint pay stubs or paychecks.
That should do it! Please let me know how it goes or if you're referring to something else by leaving a comment. I'd be glad to answer if you have any additional questions or concern. Have a beautiful day.
Thank you @FritzF...unfortunately I don’t have an option under payroll settings, to do anything regarding print settings. I’m using Quickbooks Online Full Service Payroll, does that make a difference?
