My employees have not received their direct deposit.
Hi there, @user26582 and @MG1289. I can share with you some information about direct deposit payroll in QuickBooks.
If your employees won't get their direct deposit, it can be caused by the following:
If there are issues with the bank information, the funds will be rejected and returned to the employer's account. This process will take 2-3 business days after the pay date. If the employee still did not receive the funds by 5 PM after the settlement date, please give out Support Team a call so we can do a direct deposit trace.
However, if payroll is submitted on a non-banking day or federal holiday, your direct deposit will be drawn from your account the next banking day. Banks often close on state holidays, you'll want to double-check with your bank for any state holidays they observe.
In case the payroll was submitted on holiday, your employees may receive the funds on the next banking day.
You can get more hints about direct deposit lead times through these links:
Once the employees received their pays and you're ready to pay and file your taxes and forms, you can do it electronically. I'm adding this link as your reference: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms in Online Payroll.
Please feel free to get back to me here for any additional questions with direct deposit. I always have your back. Cheers for more success!
This is happening to everyone. We couldn't have all made the same mistakes that payroll isn't processed on time. Can your support team look into this?
I talked with QB Onilne Help. Since I did the payroll on a Holiday, which is after the cut-off time, Direct Deposit Payroll will land in the employee's accounts at 5pm, Pacific Time today, Friday, 11/12/2021. I hope this helps everyone.
Our direct deposits have not processed yet either. From what I'm reading since I processed on a holiday, there is a delay and deposits should post by end of day today between 5-7pm 11/12/2021.
I think if I had processed on wednesday 11/10/21 it would not have been an issue from what I am reading.
I did get a call back from QB help who verified they should deposit by end of day today 11/12/21.
