Hi there, tjensen1.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'm here to share details on how timesheets/Hrs works in QuickBooks. Then, ensure that 64 hours of Overhead shows in the paystub.
When you use QuickBooks Time with QuickBooks Online, you have to review your employees' timesheets before running payroll. With this, you can approve, unapprove, or reject hours for multiple employees or one at a time. That said, I reccomend making sure that you approve all timesheets for the specific pay period so the 64 hours of Overhead will appear in the paystub.
Here's how:
- Click the + New.
- Choose Approve Time. The current pay period displays.
- Select a date range.
- Click Approve all employees.
Additionally, you can also approve or unapproved hours for one employee at a time. Please follow the steps below.
- Click the + New button.
- Select Approve Time. The current pay period displays.
- In Needs review, select an employee.
- Check the time.
- Select Edit next to any timesheet that needs editing.
- Make your changes and select Save.
- Choose Approve [employee's] time.

If the issue persists, you'll have to use or make sure that the Payroll item Mapping Tool to assign payroll items to your hours is set up correctly. This means that for all regular hours tracked per employee, there will be one payroll item assigned to those hours in QuickBooks. For all overtime hours tracked per employee, there will be one payroll item assigned to those hours in QuickBooks. This can be done for regular time, overtime, double-time, and any PTO codes that you have set up. Lastly, you may refer to this article to view steps on how you can find more options or edit your original options in the QuickBooks Integration Preferences window: About QuickBooks integration preferences in QuickBooks Time.
