I'm more than happy to assist you with modifying your SC UI tax rate.
To make the necessary changes, you can access the Payroll settings of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and update your SC UI rate from there to match the notice from the state.
To do this, here's how:
However, if you're unable to modify the rate, I suggest getting in touch with our Payroll support team. They have access to the tools required to securely pull up your account and assist you with the update as well as adjusting the tax owed.
To reach them, click the ? Help button at the top-right corner and select Contact Us to talk with a live agent. Ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available.
In case you want to run payroll reports to view useful information about your business and employees in the future, you can refer to this article for more guidance: Run payroll reports.
If you have any other concerns or questions related to adjusting your UI tax rate, feel free to come back to this post. I'm always here to provide further assistance. Have a great day!
Unfortunately, it's not the RATE that is the problem. Its the CALCULATION for Q1. My system is telling me it should be ~$45 and the SC website where I enter the information is telling me it should be ~$20. I need to know how to ADJUST this before I process the payment in the system. I need to know how to make that adjustment to reflect the same thing the SC website it telling me.
In Desktop, you could do that so easily and in Online you can't. I wish I would have stayed with Desktop. It seems like so many features are now obsolete and it requires too much searching to figure it out.
This is not how we want you to feel, pwebster21. Allow me to route you to the appropriate support to help you with payroll-related adjustments.
