Is there a way to import an employee's hours to QBO/Intuit Payroll via a csv file?

Hello, IdealCusto.

We're unable to import employee's hours using a CSV file in QuickBooks Online. You'll want to manually enter it using the weekly timesheet.

Here's how:

  1.  Click the Plus sign (+) icon.
  2. Choose Weekly Timesheet.
  3. Fill in the necessary fields.
  4. Click Save and new or Save and close.

You can also check our QuickBooks Apps store to look for third-party apps that can help you import the information.

Is this a feature that is being looked at?  I have 60 employees who each will have 10 to 20 different lines of hours based on client work.

Yes, we're looking forward to it, @Nate5.

I know how this feature would be beneficial when we're able to import employee's hours to QBO via CSV file.

In the meantime, I'd encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Blog site to view current news and updates in QuickBooks Online that includes product enhancements and feature releases.
