This is very worrisome. All of my direct deposit employees are very upset. They count on this money. Most of them are canceling their direct deposit moving forward. We may cancel our services all together.
What do I tell my client? They have employees that have to pay rent tomorrow and they only work until 2pm. It sounds like if you cancel the payroll, it will still go through direct deposit so writing checks is just paying them double.
We're having same issues too. We use interbank and all the employees have not been paid. Payroll tax has been taken from the bank account only which is odd. Also received confirmation that payroll was to go through today. We need to get updates on this as soon as possible

Thank you so much for reporting this in the community. We did identify an issue this morning (April 30th) that prevented some direct deposits from being processed as normal. The good news is, this has now been resolved and we expect all affected deposits to be processed and in your employees' accounts by the end of the day today.

My QB online payroll direct deposit did not go through. I processed the payroll in plenty of time. I do not see the deductions in the bank. Please help!!

QuickBooks sends an email notification regarding the status of your direct deposit, the reason why it didn't go through and what are the actions you need to take.
