Totally at my wits end:
QB claims to produce a file suitable for upload in North Carolina Unemployment Quarterly filing. I first checked with NCDES and they tell me that QB needs to produce a compatible .csv file but what they are producing is some kind of text file. It is not only I having issues with this. I have very simply been trying to find out from QB support if they are aware of the problem and when it might be fixed.
When I try to upload the file, I just get a list of errors stating invalid and missing info, upload failed.
Is anyone else having these same issues, have you been able to resolve (and how?)
Of course, I have had 2 phone calls to QB and started 2 different Chat sessions. Ran the gamut from 'I'm not a Payroll person, you need to request Payroll (I did!) to call back with no one on the line to interrupted chat to a chat asking for my license # & some other irrelevant info, then abruptly abandoning the chat. The usual with QB. Last week it took almost a full day between phone and chat to get my new Enhanced PR license activated and applied to all my companies. My hair is on FIRE, I HATE QB. With the monopoly they have, one would think they could do better.
I know you've been in a tough spot here, @IAGnpc. I'm here to ensure you'll be routed to the right support team.
Let me guide you on contacting our QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Payroll support team to check if they can provide a .csv file. This will also allow them to investigate the issue thoroughly and offer a solution.
Here's how:
The support hours for QBDT Payroll Basic, Enhanced, or Standard are from 6 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday. QBDT Assisted Payroll is available 24/7.
Alternatively, you can download the .txt file and use a third-party converter to turn it into a .csv file.

Yeah, been there 4 times already today. No luck: Even if someone pretends they might be able to assist, they leave the chat or disconnect right in the middle. And call backs have no one on the other end. You have no idea how much time I have already wasted on this today. It is clear that what QB claims to be an uploadable file for NC does not meet the criteria, but they don't even understand the simple question.
Please do not answer questions that you have not actually read through. You were already told that they were on several calls and several chats.
Please......... Is there a compatible file in quickbooks desktop enterprise or not to file our NCUI101 State unemployment quarterly report. And do NOT send me a checklist. I am sure you are required to steer us in a different direction, but you are steering us away from quickbooks and intuit. It's super stressful and annoying.
I understand the importance of filing your state forms, crystala. I know some information regarding this concern.
In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), when it comes to having a file for your NCUI101 State unemployment quarterly, it's best to reach out to your state agency and ask what's the best course of action since we can only provide the payroll reports that can help you in as you file your forms. Afterward, you'll need to submit it to them directly.

We're always here to help you out. Just let us know in the comment section. Stay safe.
Please ask someone who knows when Intuit is going to roll out a compatible NCUI101 form with the North Carolina requirements. And roll this up to someone that knows.
THIS is not an answer. It isn't even comprehensible.
