Payroll went through but Quickbooks says for me to resend payroll to show correctly in the account. will is send out a new paycheck?

Quickbooks payroll came on and said some of my files may be missing and to go under employee and hit send payroll. They payroll was sent last week, everyone got their check but it is not showing that it was sent in QuickBooks but I have a verification from them that it did.

Thanks for letting us know, Miche1989. I'll provide input to help you fix employee payroll and accurately record them in QuickBooks.

To ensure these are shown in your QuickBooks Desktop account, make sure to have the latest release of your tax table and that your QBDT is up-to-date.

If you receive error PS038 after updating your tax table, it's best to send your payroll data to us. To do this:

  1. Go to Employees, select My Payroll Service, then select Send Usage Data. If you don’t see this option, follow the next step.
  2. Go to Employees, then select Send Payroll Data.
  3. In the Send/Receive Payroll Data window, select Send All. Enter your payroll service pin if prompted.

If you see PS034, you may consider getting payroll updates again.

However, if the send is unsuccessful, you can contact our Customer Care Team to have your account reviewed further and your case investigated.

Furthermore, I'm including these resources to help you track payroll data and prepare payroll filings in your account:

I'll be around on this forum if there's anything else you require additional assistance managing employee paychecks in your file. Feel free to let me know in the comments below.
