When I run payroll I see:
Pay Period 5-23-2022 to 5/29/22
Pay date 6/02/22
But when I go to pay the taxes for this period I see the period as:
period start date 6/1/2022
Period end date 6/3/2022
I think the period start and end date of the payroll tax is wrong.
It should be
period start date 5/23/2022
Period end date 5/29/2022
Please fix this flaw in your software.
Thanks
Hi laura1960,
Thanks for stopping by. Having a correct period is really important to get the correct amounts. Let's find out why yours is incorrect.
To start, you'll want to be sure you have the correct payment schedule in your settings before making a payment.
If the schedule is already correct, please get in touch with our QBO Payroll Support, so they can use more tools to check this further.
On the other hand, you can also check the self-help articles for QBO Payroll should you need them in the future.
Let me know if you have other concerns with your tax payment. I'm just around to help.
here is what I see:
Filing & Deposit Requirements
Filing Requirement & Deposit Schedule | Effective Date
941 filer, semi-weekly depositor (current schedule) | 01/01/2009
Change or add new schedule |
With Intuit Online Payroll I could schedule the 941 weekly payment on the same day I submitted payroll.
But QBOnline payroll doesn't even acknowledge that I have a tax payment due. In fact it says I do not have a tax payment due until the very last day i can pay it without penalty.
Thanks
