My employer sends me emails of my pay stubs, and I can't open them since they contain an embedded password when trying to open it using an acrobat reader. My employer doesn't know the password or how to disable it.
I've had my employer print the pay stub out, then scan and email a copy of it to me.

May I ask which online paycheck product are you trying to access? Was it QuickBooks Workforce (formerly ViewMyPaycheck) or Paycheck Records?

Once completed, you’ll receive and email notification containing a temporary password and login instructions.

You may consider resetting your login credentials via the sign-in page. Just click on the I forgot my user ID or password link so you can enter a new one. I'll show you how:
If you can't still log in, I would recommend contacting your employer to reset your Workforce access.
