Pre-Covid... I had been deducting Child Support from one of my staff successfully. It was deducted correctly, then the payment showed up on the "Pay Taxes and Other Liabilities". All good.
Suddenly, it seems it has all broken... but I changed NOTHING in this area.
I hired him back 4 weeks ago, and the last two paychecks have deducted the funds from his paycheck... but PAYING those funds to the state have been problematic.
The Child Support isn't showing up on the "Pay Taxes and Other Liabilities" area.
When I chose "Create Custom Payments" to try to send this money to the state... I get a popup that says the payroll liability is negative and cannot create a negative check.
While I'm looking at this... I was also baffled to see that the Group Health Plan Premium was negative... is there some sort of bug all of a sudden?
Thanks for your help. I'd like to pay this bill (properly) and have everything work like it did again.
