Time Entries

We are a construction company with a few different crews working on different projects. Currently the foreman of each project keeps track of everyone's time. We have one foreman who keeps track on a piece of paper so we manually have to repeatedly enter the same days and hours for 3 different employees. Is there anyway to enter Employee A's hours and then create a copy of it for Employee B & C? The schedule feature doesn't seem like it would apply since their schedule and job can vary from week to week unless there is a better way to use it that I'm not aware of.

Time Entries

Hi there, TerraWorksInc.

Thanks for contacting the Community for support. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction regarding copying employee hours in QuickBooks Time.

Currently you would need to enter the three different sets of times for each employee. However, I have seen a few instances of QB Time users exporting hours to Excel and using a third-party importer tool to upload hours for the other employees. You can check out available apps here: QuickBooks Apps Home

I can see how having the option to copy the same hours for the next employee(s) would be useful! I recommend sending feedback to the Product Development Team for review. This can be done directly through your QuickBooks account by selecting the Gear icon in the top right corner and then select Feedback.

In the mean time, the following article offers additional info about tracking and managing QuickBooks Time in QuickBooks Online.
