There are times that an issue like this occurs when we encounter a browser-related issue. We can fix this by running some basic troubleshooting steps.

 

I suggest performing the steps through a private window. It's the best place to check browser-related issues while working with QuickBooks. To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

 
If it works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the result.

Thanks for the suggestions.   I had already tried using a private window, and tried again and still no luck.  I use google, safari and edge and same on all.  It is only not showing the activity detail when time entry only users are logged in.  As an admin, I CAN see the detail.   I've attached what a time entry only user sees when they are logged in and click to see their time detail:

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), Time Tracking Only users can only access timesheets and time reports. If you're having trouble with this user type, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. You can delete and add the user again.

 

Once done, check if this user type can now access timesheets. If the same thing happens, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team to further investigate the root cause of the issue. They can pull up your account in a secure place and you can also request a screen-sharing session so they can review your set up.
