We discovered that if you select a different employee in the drop down box, and then go back to the employee you are trying to edit or input then it works without the error code. Hope that works for you till they fix it.
Same here. I have a client who is an attorney who is flipping out because he and his staff have been unable to enter any billable time for four days now. The employees are active (nothing has been changed on our end) but every time they try to enter time they receive a red message "The worker you selected has been deleted. Please select a different worker." I guess I'll change my schedule for today and plan to spend the morning on the phone with Quickbooks.
Yes, we created a new 'dummy' name and have to enter all billable time under that. Then save and find the entry and change it to the correct employee and then re-save. THANKS FOR YET ANOTHER CHANGE THAT COSTS US MORE TIME INTUIT!
The same thing is happening to me! It's happened before to us with the free QB Online time tracking. It's a mess. I can't invoice my clients. I just got off a call with support and they were no help at all. It's definitely a new update. My only recourse right now is to add another employee for each of my employees and redo all the time they have entered.
You don't have to 'redo' the time. Just enter it under the new name, save, and then you can open it and re-assign it to the correct employee.
