Workforce not working

 

I have years using Workforce and never had an issue. Now my employees cant access their paystub online (they get a message reading "Looks like you don't have Workforce") when nothing has changed and they had been able to access their info previously.

 

In addition, we just added a new employee 2 weeks ago and he has not even received the invite to join (and yes, he checked spam, etc, etc). We even tried with a different email and nothing. I tried with my email and nothing.

 

Please advise what to do. Manual process of emailing each employee a pdf copy of paystub is NOT a workaround.. I am way too busy to spend my time doing that and payroll module is way too expensive for it not to work properly.

I've checked and there isn't a report about the message they received when accessing QuickBooks Workforce. There's a possibility that new employees accounts aren't successfully linked to your QuickBooks company file. 

 

You can resend an invitation to the same email address. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Payroll, then Employees.
  2. Select the employee you need to resend the invitation to.
  3. In the Personal info section, Select Resend next to We’ve invited [employee] to view their pay stubs and W-2s online with QuickBooks Workforce.
  4. Click Done. The employee will receive a new invitation.

 

Once done, you can provide this link to your employee: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce. It provides instructions and detailed steps so they can see their paystubs online.

 

If they're still getting the error message, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Workforce Live Team. That way, they can pull up your account and verify this for you.

 

You can chat with them and they're available from Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT.

Workforce not working

Hello,

 

I have a QuickBooks account for my business, and I have an outside parttime job that uses Workforce. I am not able to get into Workforce to access my paystubs as both use the same email address. Can you suggest what I should do? I also did not see how to start a new chat thread, so I am jumping in on this one.

Welcome to the Community, Joey. I'm here to help you with accessing your paystubs as well as guiding you on how to post in the forum. 

 

You may use your work email address for QuickBooks Online (QBO) and personal email address for your Workforce account. In your case, I recommend creating a new email account, allowing you to use them separately.
