Can I change company info on updated Quickbooks software?

Tried to find the answer to my question but couldn't. Hopefully, I'll find help here. 

How would you change the name of the QB license and company info if selling your business? Currently working off QB Pro 16, current owner is selling. How would we change the info to new owner? They will be updating prior to sell to updated QB Pro version. Thanks.

I'm glad to share to steps on how to update the company name and other information in QuickBooks Desktop. To change the details, you can follow these steps:

1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop, then go to the Company menu.
2. On the My Company window, then select Edit at the upper-right corner of the page.
