Let's get rid of the error so you can continue working with QuickBooks, jettajohnson1965.


There are different reason why we encounter this error while accessing the program. It could be that:

  • Your bank added security features that require your attention.
  • The internet connection is unstable.
  • The company file or the program is damaged.
  • The Internet Explorer is outdated.
  • The QuickBooks Desktop version or you're using is no longer supported.
  • The release version of QuickBooks is outdated.

Then, you can already go through with the Steps 1-6. This would help us fix the error if it still occurs after following the guidelines.

I'd like to make sure you're able to get into your account so let me guide you to the right support who can assist you further.


If you're connecting using the Direct Connect process, contact your bank and ask them whether you need a special code for sign-in credentials.


However, if they don't need a special code and you already tried out the steps in this article Fix OL and OLSU Bank Feeds errors in QuickBooks Desktop and still can't get into your checking account, I'd suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Desktop Support so they can investigate this further.
