Lane 5000 Pin Pad not working/responding

Attempting to install Lane 5000 Pinpad on my Windows surface book with no success.

 

-Preconditions - Installed the driver 3.26. Confirmed "Ingenico USB Drivers 3.26 (remove only) is listed on my Programs and Features section. 

 

- Once I connect the USB cable from the Star printer (which connects to the pin pad) my computer makes a beeping sound to notify something has been connected but no notifications are triggered. 

-I Run Wizard setup in QB for "Ingenico Tetra Lane 5000 Series PIN PAD". Selecting "Next" says "PIN PAD not detected"

 

Pinpad is clearly powered on and displays " Intuit Quickbooks" logo

 

- If I follow steps to updated driver system says "The best drivers for your device are already installed".
