I had the same problem, tried reinstalling, but I still got an unresponsive app.
Then, I tried going to Help > Reset App Data ... and it works again.
I had the same problem. Reinstalling didn't work for me, but Help > Reset App Data did.
I got an update alert, and then it loaded after I installed the update.
You can open multiple companies at the same time now; nice!

And by "Help > Reset App Data" he means, using the "Help" tab at the top of the screen, not the "Help" on the right side of the App.
Btw, it just worked for me also.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
