I recognize the importance of accessing your company files in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @pelli69. I'm here to share details about activating an older version.
Activating your QBDT 2010/2011 version is no longer possible as these versions have been discontinued. Your best option moving forward is to gradually upgrade to a currently supported version.

I do not want to upgrade. I want to use the software that I have purchased. Just because I have had to upgrade my computer should not affect the ability to use software that I have legally purchased. I do not understand why QB cannot activate my software
