Hi, @userkspanover-sbyc.
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the print customer address labels concern you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
I don't understand how that helps print out mailing labels. Other than just a list report
This doesn't print to labels -- it's just a report. We need the ability to print from QBO to mailing labels.
QB Desktop had this capability and it is CRITICAL. And exporting and fighting with MS Word and mail merge isn't the answer. Please include this IMPORTANT capability in QBO.
Thanks for joining this thread, Kmorrisnc.

What kind of business do you run? You may need an additional app as a workaround.
I'm seriously agravated that I can no longer print mailing labels with Quickbooks Online. Who in the world doesn't need that capability? It was available free on the desktop version. Please do something about this.
It should not be this hard to print off address labels!
Customer service person Killy has no idea what a mailing label is! Wasted 30 minutes.
I do not understand why we cannot do basic things in the online version! Like many I have wasted hours trying to get support to find out it's not an option in the online version! Something as simple as printing labels?!?!?
Here's a video I found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltSKcbUP10Q
Does anyone have any experience related to ONLY printing labels with a Dymo type device with QuickBooks Online Plus version. And if so how do you have it setup. We are looking at using a Dymo label printer with a wireless print server from Dymo to print labels from the online version ONLY.
Thanks!
Thanks for utilizing the Community space, RWeber2022.
I know the importance of printing labels using your Dymo label printer for your business. In QuickBooks Online, the option to print labels is unavailable.
You can consider looking for a third-party application that can generate labels and link with QuickBooks Online as a workaround. We offer a variety of apps to pick from that will meet your needs; go to the Apps menu within QuickBooks to find one.
Additionally, you can run a Customer Contact List report and customize it to display the billing and shipping address. You can follow the steps outlined by my colleague Rubielyn_J above. Then, you can export it to Excel if you want to print a label outside QuickBooks Online.
If you wish to make changes to your customer information for future reference, you can read this handy resource: Edit customer information.
I'll keep an eye on your response, don't hesitate to reply if you need further assistance. Have a great day.
what a shocking programme this is and clearly who ever designed has never worked in a business at all, who removes printing labels function, bring back desktop, i never recommend this software
I entirely agree
Is there still no way to print off mailing labels for customers? I just switched from desktop to online and this is yet another issue I've found! Why take that away?
I am so frustrated with quickbooks online. I have been using the desktop version for over 20 years, intuit is forcing you to go online to pay them monthly forever or pay over $500 for the desktop version. I cannot print simple address labels to send important information to my customers. There is no "help" when you type in a question. I tried several different ways to ask how to print address labels and got some totally unrelated bs.

Switch back to QB Desktop. If you don't mind to use the trial version, you can use it for good if required.
I, too, was frustrated with this until I finally gave up. It's pretty easy to get the list in a format and print the labels through Word or Excel. Going online was a huge learning curve for me. It took over a year to be comfortable with it. There are many advantages to it. At times I wished I never did. It took over 3 years to figure out how to stop the maddening ads. I pay monthly and yet they try to sell more. I finally had a computer guy come over and show me how to block their ads!
Yes, there are work arounds from outside of QB. However, for the amount of money we spend for QB you would think that such a basic app could have already been implimented.
We can't as our big brother goverment makes us do VAT online and PAYE which desktop didn't do so were forced in to this junk, this month it couldnt even do paternity leave! 3 days with help from qb and we had to bodge it
my feed back is qbs online is by far the worse programming you have ever done it isnt able to carry out basic account package, who ever desgined this needs to go back to IT and actually speak to buisness owners on how things are ran, you had it great with desktop, next year i am looking at leaving after 20 yrs with qbs to go to sage!
Why don't you switching back to QB Desktop?
We switched to the online version back in 2017. QB sales told us it was a quick change over from desktop, and they lied and I beleved them! They told me the online version was the same as the desktop. We couldn't get anything to work properly for 3 days, but sorted out the major differences over time. I have three other people using the online version from different locations, so changing back in not a viable option.
