So i user just got this error, its the only remote connection into QB. The server is running in multi mode. If i connect to the file when its running on the server I get the error, yet I can shut QB on server down and load the file from the network drive on the users PC> I ran file doctor and it told me that hosting mode was off although when logged in it shows multi users. I'm running Norton on all but temporary turned the firewall off and still no luck. I never could find the connection diagnostic tools that they were talking about.

1. **Check Your Network Connection: I can access the company file across the network along with the full folder the file is setting in.
2. **Verify File Location:** I have full access to file and folder across the network from the user to the server
3. **Update QuickBooks:** I don't see any update errors telling me to update.
4. **Check Permissions:** I ran the tool thing where it checked all that
5. **Restart Everything:** A couple times.
